Introduction
We spend hundreds of hours researching the best HR and recruiting software so you don’t have to. We never take money from vendors during our research phase and rely heavily on practitioners and experts to help us recommend the right software. However we may earn a small fee if you click on vendor links on this page.
AccuSourceHR screening reports are some of the easiest to read and navigate. Its recent acquisition of Five Diamond Screening also makes the background check software more appealing to businesses in the hospitality and leisure industries.

While AccuSourceHR’s UI is nothing to write home about (it is neither bad nor great), we were impressed by how the background check tool presents the check results of candidates. The color-coded headings make it so easy to skim and navigate. Plus, when you need to see further info, the report delivers. Underneath each heading, it shows all the records the system has found, if any, so you can easily validate the report's accuracy.
We were also elated to find out that AccureSourceHR’s support is on par with its competing peers. When we asked some HR professionals how they felt about using this software for their pre-employment screening, “friendly,” “timely,” and “helpful.” were the top phrases they brought up. What's more, AccuSourceHR provides dedicated customer success managers on top of the standard call, email, and live chat support for its custom plan. It’s, hence, safe to say you can’t go wrong with this level of customer care.
If you’re in the hospitality or entertainment industries, you may have heard of Five Diamond—a renowned background check brand with a solid record of client base in these markets. In late 2023, AccuSourceHR acquired Five Diamond. This move has powered up AccuSourceHR’s capabilities in markets it was less known of before.
Unfortunately, we (and perhaps several other small businesses) are not happy about how AccuSourceHR markets its services. Although the vendor has added the RapidSource plan catering to small-scale screening needs, considering that it charges $99 for every new account set up, we can relate to those being on the fence about whether to give the background check software a try.
We would like to see better in-app notifications as well. For now, even if an applicant gets flagged on their check, AccuSourceHR will just notify you that the check is completed. You won’t be able to find out about that unless you go check further details in the screening report—bummer!
AccuSourceHR has three plans and charges a $99.00 account set-up fee for all new accounts.
- RapidSource: For teams running 1-10 screens per month. Three packages are available, priced at $27.69, $48.59, and $77.97. Additional services range from $7.91 to $50.85.
- AccuSourceHR Standard: Custom pricing tailored for teams conducting 11+ screens per month.
- Tricare and ABA Providers: Priced at $63.00, with additional services ranging from $4.65 to $22.50. Additional single-product options can be ordered individually or bundled with a package request.
AccuSourceHR works best for companies, ideally midmarket, in the hospitality and leisure industries.
